We collect information you provide to us, information generated through your use of Plantshaven, and limited technical information necessary to operate and improve our Services.

Information You Provide

Depending on the features you use, this may include:

• Account and profile information, such as your name and email address.
• Messages, questions and other information submitted through AI-powered features.
• Images and agricultural information submitted for analysis.
• Agricultural records, notes and related information.
• Posts, comments, images and other Community content.
• Farm and operational information provided through our farm management features.
• Information you provide when communicating with us.

If you sign in using a supported third-party account, such as Google or Apple, we may receive information necessary to authenticate you.

Location Information

Some Plantshaven features, such as local weather, may use your device location with your permission.

Depending on your device settings, this may be precise or approximate location. Plantshaven does not currently collect your location in the background.

You may also provide locations yourself, such as farm or field locations.

Technical and Usage Information

We may collect limited information about how the Services operate and are used, such as device and application information, usage activity, error reports, performance information and security-related information.

We use information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Provide and personalize Plantshaven features.
• Respond to questions and provide AI-powered functionality.
• Analyze agricultural information and images you submit.
• Store and synchronize your records.
• Provide Community features.
• Provide location-dependent features such as weather.
• Authenticate and secure accounts.
• Send necessary account and service communications.
• Monitor and improve performance and reliability.
• Understand how our Services are used.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• Moderate Community content and enforce our policies.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use personal information for materially unrelated purposes without an appropriate legal basis or notice.

Some Plantshaven features use artificial intelligence.

When you use these features, information necessary to process your request, such as messages, images and relevant agricultural context, may be processed by third-party AI service providers to generate a response or analysis.

We limit the information shared to what is reasonably necessary to provide the requested feature.

We do not currently use your ordinary messages, images or other submissions to train our own AI models, and we do not intentionally enable our AI providers to use production user content for general model training.

AI-generated information may not always be accurate or suitable for every situation. Our Terms of Use contain additional information about AI-powered agricultural guidance.

Information you intentionally publish through Plantshaven Community may be visible to other users.

This may include posts, comments, images and associated profile information.

Please avoid publishing information that you do not want other users to see.

We may review and process Community content where necessary to moderate the service, investigate reports, prevent abuse and enforce our policies.

If your account is deleted, Community contributions may be anonymized so they are no longer associated with your account. You may also request deletion of your Community posts and comments as part of account closure.

We use analytics, crash-reporting and performance-monitoring services to understand how Plantshaven is used, identify technical problems and improve our Services.

These services may process limited account identifiers, device information, usage information and technical diagnostic data.

We configure these services to limit unnecessary collection of user content and restrict sensitive areas from applicable diagnostic or experience-monitoring features.

Analytics, diagnostic and defined audit information is generally retained for up to 90 days.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with trusted service providers where necessary to operate Plantshaven.

These providers help us with services such as:

• Cloud hosting and data storage.
• Artificial intelligence processing.
• Authentication.
• Email delivery.
• Analytics and diagnostics.
• Security and application infrastructure.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, protect our users or Services, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce our agreements, or establish or defend legal claims.

If Plantshaven or relevant business assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

Plantshaven uses cloud infrastructure and service providers that may operate in different countries.

As a result, your information may be stored or processed outside the country where you live.

Where required, we take appropriate measures designed to protect personal information when it is processed internationally.

Some Plantshaven features also support offline use. Information used by those features may be stored locally on your device and synchronized with our systems when connectivity becomes available.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, and meet applicable legal, security and operational requirements.

In general:

• Account information is retained while your account is active.
• Content such as conversations, investigations and records is retained until you delete it or your account is finally deleted.
• Associated images generally follow the retention of the content they belong to.
• Analytics, diagnostics and defined audit information is generally retained for up to 90 days.
• Certain records may be retained longer where required by law, including applicable tax, accounting or transaction records.

When information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it as appropriate.

You may request deletion of your Plantshaven account through the available account settings or by contacting us.

Account deletion has a 30-day grace period.

During this period, logging back into your account cancels the scheduled deletion.

After the grace period, we begin final deletion or de-identification of personal information associated with your account, subject to information we are permitted or required to retain.

Residual copies may remain in secure disaster-recovery backups for up to 30 additional days before those backups expire. Backups are maintained for disaster recovery and service continuity rather than ordinary use of deleted information.

Some information associated with farm or organizational operations may belong to that organization rather than to an individual account and may therefore be retained where appropriate.

Community content is handled as described in the Community section above.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to:

• Access information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of eligible information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Request a portable copy of eligible information.
• Withdraw consent where processing relies on your consent.
• Make a complaint about how your information is handled.

These rights may be subject to applicable legal limitations.

Plantshaven does not currently provide a general self-service data export feature. You may contact us to make an applicable privacy or access request.

You can manage device permissions, including location access, through your device settings.

We do not currently send general marketing communications to registered users. If we introduce them, we will provide appropriate unsubscribe or opt-out controls.

Necessary account, security and service communications may still be sent.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

No electronic system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and should contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Plantshaven accounts are intended for people who are 18 years of age or older.

If we become aware that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may take steps to restrict or close the account and appropriately handle associated information.

If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information to Plantshaven, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Plantshaven develops, our practices change or legal requirements evolve.

When we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this Policy.

Where appropriate or required, we may provide additional notice of material changes.
