Account & Data Deletion

The easiest way to delete your account is from within the Plantshaven app:

Account → Settings → Delete Account

Follow the instructions shown to confirm your request.

If you cannot access your account, you can contact us at admin@plantshavenhq.com for assistance.

We may need to verify that you are the account owner before processing a request made outside the app.

Plantshaven provides a 30-day grace period after you request account deletion.

During this period, your account is scheduled for deletion but can still be recovered.

If you log back into Plantshaven during the 30-day period, the deletion request is cancelled and your account remains active.

If you do not return, final deletion begins after the grace period.

When your account is finally deleted, we delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account where it is no longer required.

This generally includes:

• Your account and profile information.
• Conversations and associated content.
• Investigations and associated images.
• Agricultural records and associated media.
• Other information associated solely with your Plantshaven account.

Community posts and comments may be anonymized when your account is deleted so that they are no longer associated with your account.

You may request deletion of your Community posts and comments as part of the account-deletion process.

Some information in Plantshaven may belong to a farm, business or organization rather than to an individual account.

Deleting your personal account does not necessarily delete legitimate organizational records or information belonging to another account or organization.

We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary or required for purposes such as:

• Legal or regulatory obligations.
• Tax, accounting or transaction records.
• Fraud and abuse prevention.
• Security and audit requirements.
• Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

Where information is retained for these purposes, we limit it to what is reasonably necessary.

After final deletion from our active systems, residual copies may remain temporarily in secure disaster-recovery backups for up to 30 additional days.

These backups are maintained for disaster recovery and service continuity and are not used for ordinary processing of deleted account information.
